Hello and welcome to news after the BBC World Service.
We're coming to you live from London.
I'm James Menendez and coming up later often nearly a week of anti-government demonstrations in Iran.
President Trump says he's ready to step in to defend the protesters.
We've managed to speak to one of them.
This thing that Mr.
Trump has said, it was perfect.
When Mr.
Trump says something, they shake to the bones, they go underground,
they know if anything happens, they would have to take consequences.
But we are going to start once again in Switzerland and the desperate wait for news of those still missing following the fire at a bar in the ski resort of Cramontana.
At least 40 people are thought to have died in the blaze,
which broke out during a party to celebrate the new year.
And two new photos have emerged showing the moment that happened.
In one of them you can see lit sparklers or fireworks attached to bottles being carried close to the ceiling of the bar.
In the other, you can see that catching light and smoke starting to spread.
What among those missing is Laetitia Broda's son Arthur.
This is what she told reporters a couple of hours ago.
I must find my son.
And today, I must go through this kind of thing to find him.
