The military says the drills are a stern warning for separatist forces on the island and against external interference.
The new round of military exercises that began on Monday are codenamed Justice Mission 2025.
The ongoing drills follow Washington's announcement of an U.S.
$11 billion arms sales to the Taiwan region.
The package includes more offensive systems than defensive weapons,
such as high-mars rocket launchers, missiles and attack the drones.
Beijing has condemned the move,
saying China's reunification is unstoppable no matter how many advanced weapons are sold to Taiwan.
