  • A Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson said on Tuesday that this very decision is stretching national security claims to suppress Chinese corporations.

  • He was urging Washington to correct its ongoing practices and provide a fair,

  • non-discriminatory business environment.

  • China's Ministry of Commerce, in the meantime, has also called the U.S.

  • measure, quote-unquote, markets distorting and unilateral bullying,

  • vowing to take necessary measures to protect the legitimate interests of Chinese corporations.
