  • And as we begin our programme,

  • there is a developing story and we start in the international waters off the coast of Venezuela.

  • US forces are said to be in active pursuit of another oil tanker.

  • They've already intercepted two vessels in the past two weeks.

  • Media are now quoting unnamed US officials saying the pursuit involves a sanction vessel,

  • which is part, they say, of Venezuela's illegal evasion of sanctions.

  • It's all part of the US's major military buildup in the region.
