US inflation is cooling a bit faster than expected.
Consumer prices were up 2.7% in November compared to last year, down from 3%.

Emma, what do you make of all that?
That's quite a drop.
It is quite a drop.
In fact, it's too much of a drop.
Outside of a recession, it's almost impossible to see a drop like this.
And although US economic data has been softer of late, we don't think the US is in recession.
