because I'm someone who Definitely has struggled with this.
I still kind of struggle with this and I know so many of you also struggle with this the month of December can be so overwhelming and be so overstimulating there's so much going on and it can be someone who has social anxieties,
worst nightmare.
So in this episode, I want to give you a guide on how to survive the holiday season.
We're going to talk about going back to your hometown and socializing with people that you haven't seen in a couple years,
overcoming the fear of small talk, how to avoid and redirect conversations about your body and food.
and how to ground yourself in over-estimulating settings like parties and holiday shopping at the mall.
But before we get into today's episode,
I just wanna let you know that I'm doing vlogmas on my TikTok.
So if you're into vlogs or you just wanna see the behind the scenes of the podcast or my life,
my TikTok and my Instagram are linked in the show notes.
But let's get into today's episode.
I currently live in well next to my hometown I ended up buying a house that's practically in my hometown it's like on the line it's on the cusp between the town I live in now and then the town I used to live in and I feel
like we hear so many people say you need to get out of your hometown life is so much bigger than your hometown and I mean I do agree with that.
I think that when you first grew up in your hometown, it's like a fish bowl.
You don't know anything other than that.
And it's important that you get out and explore and you find what's good for you.
