Hello.
I'm just checking my phone calendar and updating it for when I'm going to watch Scotland versus Haiti,
which is Scotland's first match in the World Cup on the 14th of June,
and it's going to be at 2am British time.
Great.
I knew Scotland were playing Haiti though
because I watched the draw for the World Cup on BBC Two on Friday night.
It was quite something.
and probably not in the ways that the organizers hoped it would be,
because it was mega, mega cringe.
Unfortunately, I missed the bit where Donald Trump got the new FIFA Peace Prize,
because everyone's been posting pictures about how weird that trophy is.
In the meantime,
the other thing Donald Trump was doing at the end of last week was publishing his new national security strategy for the US,
which also is quite an eye-opening experience.
And we will dig into that document and what the consequences of it are for the entire world,
and particularly Europe, in this episode of Newscast.
Hello,
it's Adam in the Newscast studio and I've just been going through the 33 pages long United States national security strategy which has got all diplomats everywhere in the world and particularly in Europe.
a gog.
