Our Top Stories America's State Department said that Donald Trump's special envoy,
Steve Wittkopf, and the President's son-in-law,
Jared Kushner,
were continuing talks with Ukrainian officials in Miami on a framework for a deal to end the war between Russia and Ukraine.
It said the two had constructive discussions with the Ukrainian negotiator,
Rustam Ulmerov, on Thursday and Friday.
Another major Russian drone and missile attack on Friday night struck Ukrainian power facilities.
Mr Putin pledged closer cooperation on trade and energy with Narendra Modi,
India's Prime Minister, during a two-day trip to India.
The Russian president promised uninterrupted fuel shipments to India,
despite pressure from America or Mr Modi to stop Russian imports.
