An inquiry into the death of Dawn Sturgess, the woman who died after she came into contact with poison intended for a former Russian agent, has reached the conclusion that President Putin was “morally responsible for her death”. Adam is joined by Marie Lennon the host of the BBC’s podcast Crime Next Door: The Salisbury Poisonings and news correspondent, Tom Symonds to explore what else the inquiry found out. Plus, Alex drops by to unpack why the government has postponed four mayoral elections that were set to take place next year. They say they need more time to prepare for the changes, but some of the candidates preparing to run in opposition have accused the government of being afraid of poor results. • Hello, thanks for getting in touch.

  • if newscast featured on your Spotify wrapped, which is the streaming services,

  • little viral thing where they tell you what you've been listening to all year,

  • and then hopefully you tell your friends to give them free advertising from their point of view.

  • Anyway, it's lovely to hear from you about what your Spotify wrapped has been vis-a-vis newscast.

  • Paul got in touch with Oxford to say, I was delighted to see in my wrap this year,

  • I was in the top 0.5% of newscast listeners with 11,655 minutes.

  • streamed.

  • And then Paul goes on to say that he listens to newscast mainly in the shower in the morning.

  • So thanks for that, Paul.

  • We've also worked out now with our number crunching, aka calculator,

  • that 11,655 minutes is equal to 194 hours and 15 minutes,

  • which is approximately eight days and two hours, which means Paul has listened to more than a week.

  • of Newscast, which is very impressive.

  • And Paul, we're very,

  • very grateful for your time and for everyone else who got in touch about how much newscast they've been listening to.

  • There's always room for more, though, isn't there?

  • Right,

  • we can add to it now with about 38 minutes worth of newscast listening with the latest episode of Newscast.

  • Newscast.
