French President Emmanuel Macron is in China for a three-day state visit.
A major focus is business.
Macron has arrived with a delegation of more than 80 people,
including several ministers and nearly 40 CEOs from major French companies.
He is scheduled to hold talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping to map out the next stage of bilateral relations and exchange views on global issues.
China's foreign ministry says the visit underscored the unique role of China-France ties amid global uncertainty,
with both sides seeking stronger strategic communication,
deeper cooperation, and greater coordination on the world stage.
