Japan's brewing giant Asahi has had to delay its latest financial results after a big cyber attack in September.
The company now says the breach may have exposed the personal details of more than one and a half million people,
customers and current and former staff.
It's also disrupted ordering and deliveries leading to shortages of beers like Superdry.
Production in Japan was back within a week, but the wider impact is still rumbling on.
Sejiro Takashita is a professor of management and information at the University of Shizuoka.
One of the reasons is that we didn't get a lot of these hackers coming into our system,
partly because of the language barrier,
the Japanese,
and also due to the fact that Japanese companies have always been very prepared to earthquakes and all these kinds of natural disasters.
So we had a lot of backup for the data and system.
But AI has, I think, changed quite a lot of that.
The language barrier has definitely gone down and also due to the fact that they're starting to understand that there's a lot of naivety in the Japanese companies and individuals as well.
And that's the reason why it's increased so dramatically.
