China has pledged that the country will always be a builder of world peace,
a contributor to global development, and a defender of the international order.
The pledge is part of a new white paper released by Chinese authorities on the country's arms control.
The document says that China plays a constructive role in international arms control and actively offers its initiatives and solutions.
The White Paper vows that China will continue to build its domestic non-proliferation capacity,
promote international cooperation on peaceful use of science and technology,
and facilitate the improvement of global non-proliferation governance.
