单集文稿 ...

  • Hello, hello dear listener and welcome into IELTS speaking part 3, journeys and travelling.

  • And there's a special focus in this episode.

  • Gory, what is it?

  • We are going to focus on being vague about things for when we do not know exactly what we want to talk about.

  • Yeah, because some questions are pretty weird and strange and you just don't know the answers.

  • What do you do?

  • Which words do you say?

  • So you're gonna learn about them in this episode.

  • Are you excited?

  • Why do some people prefer to travel abroad?

  • Well, I mean, have you seen the prices for holidays in this country?

  • It's extortionate.

  • I don't know about other countries, but I do know about mine.

  • You get much better value for money if you head overseas.

  • Plus, the weather is usually nicer in foreign countries, at least compared to my own.

  • If we talk about other places,

  • I suppose people want to escape some more routine and boring aspects of where they live.

  • Why do some people prefer to travel in their own country?

  • Well, they could be very rich,

  • and they're able to afford the expense of going to nicer places there.
