Okay, let's talk about the word cringe.
When people use this word in a non-slang way,
it's a verb that means that you have a physical reaction when you see something that is really embarrassing or awkward.
But nowadays, People also use this word as an adjective, and when they do so, it's slang.
When people say that something is cringe,
they're saying that that thing is embarrassing for another person,
even if that person doesn't realize it.
You might feel embarrassed for the other person too, but it's their embarrassing thing.
For example,
Let's imagine that your friend's dad writes a really embarrassing rap song for your friend's birthday.
Your friend's dad thinks he's so cool and that people will like this rap but it sounds really dumb and it's super awkward.
After he performs this rap, you could say to someone else, Oh man, that was so cringe.
You're saying that it was so embarrassing and awkward, even if your friend's dad doesn't realize it.
So I'm sure you could think of a lot of things that you find cringe.
