So today we are going to read the next book in our series.
We've actually read a couple books now about the Pacific Northwest,
one about Seattle, one historical book about the San Juan Islands,
and now we're gonna do one more book about the San Juan Islands
because some people on this planet live on an island.
Not everyone.
But many do.
And so in light of that,
I would like to read this book to you about what it's like to live on some islands that are in the area where we live.
Today's story is called To Live On An Island.
It was written by Emma Bland Smith, illustrated by Elizabeth Pearson,
