So we start in Brazil where dozens of indigenous protesters have stormed the venue in Belém,
which is hosting the COP30 climate talks.
They're angry over what they say are broken promises on land rights.
They clashed with police before dispersing, while the climate negotiations carried on inside.
One sector under particular scrutiny at these talks is shipping.
It's a big emitter that has struggled to agree on a global carbon levy.
I spoke to Arsenault Dominguez, Secretary General of the International Maritime Organization.

still pushing for that deal despite ongoing opposition from the United States and Saudi Arabia.
The decision was to actually postpone the adoption,
which was the final stage before the measure can then start being implemented and work on some of the concerns that were highlighted.
And it's some of the actions that I'm taking here at COP with several parties in engaging and explaining what were those comments,
how we are progressing the negotiations because we haven't stopped.
Just because we are not meeting as a session, it doesn't mean that the work has completely stalled.
