13 分钟Hello and welcome to the English Like A Native Podcast.
My name is Anna and you're listening to week 43,
day two of your English Fiver Day, the second season.
I'm here to throw wood on the fire in the pit of your stomach,
that fire that we need to keep burning, your love of the English language, your passion.
for the English language.
And by turning up every day listening to my dulcet tones you are feeding that fire.
You are taking a little step every time closer and closer to your goal of sounding more fluent and more like yourself when you communicate in English.
Now if you ever need to review to double check what we've covered,
then you can by accessing the database,
the vocabulary vault where we store all the vocabulary covered in this episode and every episode of the Five A Day series.
It's now huge and it's available to you for free.
All you have to do is click on the link in the show notes.
All right.
So without further ado, let's dive into today's very interesting episode.
After three long shifts on the trot,
exhaustion seemed to engulf me the moment I stepped into the garden.
I watered the plants without fail,
muttering complaints under my breath as I pushed the squeaky wheelbarrow along the path.
Still, the quiet evening air made the tiredness almost worth it.
