Welcome to People Fixing the World from the BBC World Service,
a programme that's all about innovation, solutions and change.
I'm Myra Anubi and this week we're flying over the Pacific Ocean and walking through a leafy forest
as we find out about clever ways to save vulnerable animals.
Today we're talking about two very different animals that have something unfortunate in common.
They're both considered near threatened.
Now this means unless action is taken soon,
they're likely to become endangered and possibly extinct.
But there are two innovative projects underway to try and stop that.
In the middle of the Pacific Ocean,
we'll meet the man who's saving a vulnerable species of albatross.
