Hello, our children in need 25 hour long podcastathon gets ever closer.
It's next Thursday, you know, which is actually very, very soon.
And the way you can help us is by sending in your voice notes,
explaining how long you've been listening to newscast,
when you listen to newscast and any memorable newscast moments,
the theme being there, the passage of time.
We had an excellent example of the genre from newscaster, Sarah.
I started listening to newscast when the Liztrust premiere ship was crashing down around us and I needed minute by minute updates and analysis of everything that was going on.
I'm sorry to tell you that I often listen to newscast in bed as I am falling asleep,
but that doesn't mean you're boring.
It means you have very relaxing voices and I like having something to think about
as I drift off to sleep.
My newscast special moment would probably be that when my boyfriend started spending the night over at my place,
I had to explain to him about my night time podcast listening.
And initially, he wasn't super on board with it, but now when we wake up in the morning,
he likes to ask me what I listened to from the night before,
what bits I heard, what bits I like, and what I think about the news.
And he talks about you guys like you're my friends.
So I think it's a really good sign for him and for us.
So thank you very much for the podcast and good luck with your podcasting marathon.
