As part of his diplomatic offensive, Mr.
Xi met a number of other leaders on Friday,
including the new Japanese Prime Minister, Sanae Takai-chi.
He also sat down with the Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney,
who echoed Mr Xi's thought that this was a time of profound global change.
