Hello.
A lot of this episode in newscast is going to be dedicated to Donald Trump's tour of Asia,
which will culminate with a meeting with President Xi Jinping of China.
But he's been receiving lots of gifts along the way,
and they will come up in our conversation, I am sure.
But we thought we would just do a little bit of a Donald Trump foreign gift catalog of some of the other presents he's received on his travels.
Bahrain's Crime Prince gave him a gold-plated fighter jet model worth $4,850.
Vietnam's Prime Minister gave him a $1,880 worth gemstone portrait of himself.
Of President Trump, that is.
Poland's President gave him a photo album entitled President Donald J.
Trump in New York.
When he was here on his previous state visit, the first time round,
the then Queen gave him a first edition copy of a book about World War II by Winston Churchill.
And Saudi Arabia gifted him a tiger fur lined robe,
which was accompanied by one that was lined with cheetah fur.
And also, an interesting one that's not directly to President Trump.
This was to his officials, and it was from Russian officials.
It is chocolates emblazoned with quotes given by President Putin,
including things like, if a fight cannot be avoided,
it's better to hit first, or the borders of Russia are not limited.
