单集简介 ...

President Donald Trump is topping off his whirlwind trip around Asia with a long-anticipated meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday. After months of an escalating trade war, Trump says a “good deal” is close to being agreed. It also includes negotiations on TikTok's US operations. Anthony joins Sarah and Justin from South Korea, where he’s been hot on the president’s heels throughout his trip, to discuss how the meeting is expected to go and how much difference it could make to everyday Americans. And Justin speaks to former White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about her belief that the Democratic Party unfairly pushed Joe Biden out of the 2024 race, and why she thinks they are abandoning LGBTQ issues. • Enough.

  • Enough.

  • Yes, that really was a military band.

  • A rendition of President Trump's favourite song, YMCA.

  • It was recorded for us on location by none other than Top Sound Recordist.

  • Anthony Zerka.

  • Anthony, where on earth were you?

  • What were the circumstances?

  • It sounds fantastic.

  • I was at the airport in Busan, South Korea.

  • We had just landed on Air Force One.

  • And the South Koreans had rolled out the red carpet for Donald Trump.

  • They had that military marching band.

  • They had a 21 gun salute.

  • They had all these dignitaries welcoming him.

  • When he came down the staircase, they played Hail to the Chief.

  • The cannon shot off.

  • And then, as you heard,

  • this military banned and their pomp and circumstance uniforms transitioned to the village people playing YMCA.

  • I don't know if Donald Trump appreciated it,
