单集文稿 ...

  • Hello, hello, dear listeners and welcome into IELTS speaking part 2.

  • Describe a time when you broke something.

  • You should say what it was, when and where it happened,

  • how you broke it and explain what you did after that.

  • That's my favorite topic because I break everything.

  • I'm a massive breaker, so I test the world, you know?

  • And if something is just, you know, not really durable, I'm gonna break it.

  • So Maria, the breaker, yeah.

  • Rory, are you the same as me?

  • I am the polar opposite of Maria, which means I am the exact opposite.

  • I don't really break anything, to be honest.

  • I'm quite good at looking after things.

  • So this is a very hard task for me, because I almost never break anything.

  • Rory, give us your story.

  • Rory's story.

  • Well, to be honest, I'm pretty good at keeping my things in a reasonable condition,

  • but one time that does stand out for me was when I cracked my phone screen,

  • which was really annoying given the lengths I'd gone to to protect it from that exact problem.

  • When it comes to the where and when of it all, this was about maybe...

  • Oh, maybe three years ago when I was living in the north of Scotland.
