Those Tomahawk missiles that we talked about here last week won't be going to Ukraine any time soon,
after President Zelensky's frank and apparently very tense meeting with President Trump failed to achieve any breakthroughs.
Shortly after we finished recording Tuesday's podcast,
we had news as well that that much talked about meeting between Presidents Trump and Putin in Budapest was going to be postponed indefinitely.
Then, on Wednesday evening, an announcement from the Trump administration.
New sanctions targeting Russia's two largest oil companies in an effort to pressure Moscow to negotiate a peace deal.
I just felt it was time.
We've waited a long time.
I thought that would go long before the Middle East.
I think that in terms of honesty, the only thing I can say is every time I speak with Latimer,
I have good conversations and then they don't go anywhere.
