  • This BBC podcast is supported by ads outside the UK.

  • Hello.

  • What are we doing here?

  • We are here to do newscast.

  • Yes.

  • Me having done BH and you having done the Sunday morning programme.

  • That's right.

  • Laura's away.

  • Paddy's away.

  • And it's been quite a morning, actually.

  • One of those Sundays when a government minister will get put up, obviously,

  • to talk about their own brief and their expertise and then something massive happens that they may not have expected.

  • Today, it was the Energy Secretary, Ed Miliband, his shadow,

  • Claire Coutinho, and the Green Party leader of England and Wales, Zach Polanski.

  • They were on BBC One with me talking about,

  • amongst other things, getting people's energy bills down.

  • And then, of course, new allegations about Prince Andrew appear in the Sunday papers.

  • So let's talk about both on this episode of Newscast.

  • And newscasters will have heard Justin Webb and Marianna Spring talking about Prince Andrew yesterday,

  • relinquishing his titles.
