China's top leadership is charting the country's next phase of development.
At the Communist Party of China's 20th Central Committee,
convened its fourth plenary session in Beijing on Monday.
General Secretary Xi Jinping of the CPC Central Committee delivered a work report and outlined draft proposals for the 15th Five-Year Plan,
which will guide the country's development through 2030.
Meanwhile,
an official data shows China's economy expanded by 5.2 percent in the first three quarters,
remaining on track to meet the annual growth target of around 5 percent.
The National Bureau of Statistics says this figure reflects strong resilience and steady progress,
despite global hattowens.
