Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Alboraz Bueno has concluded a two-day official visit to China.
He has visited this country at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart, Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
His agenda included a meeting with Spanish business representatives in this country,
the inauguration of a new center belonging to a Spanish university in the city of Hangzhou,
among others.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Spain.
China represents Spain's largest trading partner outside the European Union,
with bilateral trade volumes surging to more than 48 billion US dollars in recent years.
So joining us now underlying is Dr. George Zagopoulos,
director of the EU China program with CIFE, a European research organization.
