He is the 2017 recipient of the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences for his contributions to behavioral economics.

He is also a founding principal at Fuller Thaler Asset Management,
which uses behavioral finance to manage more than $30 billion in small-cap US equities.
He is the co-author of multiple New York Times bestselling books, including Nudge, and misbehaving.
