  • After a federal judge blocked an earlier attempt to send Oregon's National Guard into Portland,

  • Trump attempted to deploy the California National Guard there instead,

  • But late last night, a court temporarily blocked that move, too,

  • citing a lack of evidence that recent protests in Portland justified a heightened federal response.
