This is David Gevis, Climate Correspondent at The New York Times.
At our Climate Forward Live event, we sit down with world leaders,
scientists, and innovators who are tackling the climate crisis head-on.
This year, we're having urgent conversations with figures including Energy Secretary Chris Wright,
Kate Brandt of Google, and Senator Brian Schatz.
And with our new Climate Forward podcast, you can engage with the ideas shaping our future,
even if you can't make the event.
Find Climate Forward wherever you get podcasts.
Hey, everyone, it's Rachel.
I'm here with a quick announcement.
Part of what we do at the show, as you know, is take you, our listeners,
into the world of an important story and behind the journalism in the newsroom here at The New York Times.
But we were thinking that there are certain stories that are hard to do in a busy news week,
and so many brilliant people doing incredible things at the times that might not end up on our regular program.
So we decided we wanted to try something new and fun.
We're going to bring you some other kinds of conversations and stories.
To begin with, we'll sit down for a conversation with our colleagues over in games.
And we're also going to show you how our composers work in the audio department.
We have other ideas of fun things, but These are the first two.
And our plan is to make these bonus conversations available only for subscribers.
