  • President Donald Trump says Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has agreed to a 20-point plan to put an end to the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

  • The statement comes after a meeting between these two leaders at the White House.

  • The plan proposes an immediate end to military operations with Hamas releasing 20 living hostages as well as the remains of the hostages who are believed to be dead within three days in exchange for hundreds of detained Palestinians.

  • It also demands that Hamas will have no role in the governance of Gaza and leaves the door open for an eventual Palestinian state.

  • President Trump is urging Hamas to accept the terms of this particular peace proposal.
