Chinese Premier Li Chang says China is ready to continue deepening coordination with North Korea to better safeguard common interests.
He made a remark while meeting with North Korean Foreign Minister Qiao Songhui.
Premier Li said China is ready to work with North Korea to further carry forward traditional friendship and strengthen strategic communication.
Zhao said North Korea hopes to strengthen high-level exchanges with China and further boost bilateral cooperation.
And Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has also met with his North Korean counterpart here in Beijing.
The senior Chinese diplomat reaffirmed Beijing's commitment to consolidating ties with North Korea,
saying that it is a strategic decision by the Communist Party of China and the Chinese government.
Wang Yi also said that China is ready to strengthen coordination with North Korea on international and regional affairs and jointly oppose hegemonism in any form.
