I have the feeling that Shopify optimizes their platform continuously.
Everything is super simple, integrated and linkable.
And the time and the money that I save can be invested in other ways.
Especially in growth.
Hello, I'm Al-Alshamahi and this is the conversation from the BBC World Service,
the programme that amplifies women's voices,
which is really just a fancy way of saying that we find two women from different countries who share an expertise,
bring them together and see what happens.
Today I'm joined by two women who are reclaiming the craft of brewing beer.
Apiwe Nusaini Moela is the first black female owner of a craft brewery in South Africa,
and in 2019 she launched her own beer line which showcases uniquely African ingredients.
Orika Gens is a brewmaster at the Schnee-Oila brewery in Berlin,
which she founded in 2016 after years of developing a recipe through scientific study of the Berliner Weiss,
a native beer that she's made her mission to revive.
Orika Apiwe, welcome to the conversation.
Can you first define what craft beer is as opposed to other kinds of beer?
It's all fermented beverage that is coming from cereal,
the starch from the cereal is converted to alcohol and carbon dioxide,
whether you make it in a million hectoliters or five hectoliters.
