Chinese Premier Li Qian has reaffirmed that China firmly upholds the authority of the UN and supports its reforms to improve efficiency.
He was speaking during a meeting with UN General Assembly President Alina Baerbock in New York.
Premier Li said the Global Governance Initiative proposed by President Xi Jinping aims to support the United Nations in playing its central role.
He said China is willing to work with the UN and all parties to implement the initiative and promote the building of a more fair and a reasonable international system.
Baobok said the four major global initiatives proposed by President Xi are highly consistent with the purposes and principles of the UN Charter.
