Discussion keeps the world turning.
This is Round Table.
Hello and welcome to Round Table, coming to you from Beijing.
I'm Ha Young.
While the spotlight is shining brightly down in Fuzhou,
capital of Fujian province in southeastern China,
for the 12th Silk Road International Film Festival,
We are bringing the energy of this cinematic event right to you.
This year's festival is a spectacular record breaker with over 3,500 films from 135 countries and regions.
We're especially proud that 394 outstanding works come from China's Hong Kong,
Macau, and Taiwan regions.
A very warm welcome to Teng Kelan.
She is not only very active in youth affairs in Macau's special administrative region,
but also a passionate advocate for storytelling through film,
having directed and starred in a short film called Granny.
Welcome to the show Kelan!
Hi, Huyang.
Thanks for having me here today.
It's great to have you on the show.
And so many of us have that one family member who feels like a pillar of our world.
