Let's begin, as we always do, with a snapshot of what's to come.
One summer we stayed in a rambling old house near the forest,
with rooms spreading in every direction.
Each morning we would explore the wilderness, carrying a thermos of tea for the long walks.
By the end of the week, I felt completely at one with nature.
Peaceful and relaxed among the trees.
Okay, let's deep dive now into our vocabulary.
Number one on our list is an adjective and it is the adjective rambling.
Rambling.
Now this always makes me think of roses because we often use this with the rose, bush or plant.
So to be rambling is to be large and spread out in many different directions.
There are a number of different bushes and plants that do ramble.
They spread out and they grow quite vast.
