  • So for today's topic,

  • we wanted to talk about something that I think is commonly experienced and not as commonly talked about,

  • and it is conflict with your SO.

  • A lot of people handle conflict differently already,

  • but on top of that there's an added layer of complication

  • because people approach relationships differently.

  • So today we'll kind of dive into how our personal approach to conflict in our relationships are.

  • So let's start this off by kind of setting the stage.

  • How often do you think you have conflict with your SO?

  • And I'm realizing that I keep saying SO and we got a comment from a listener who asked what SO means.

  • SO stands for significant other.

  • So it's a very common way to refer to your romantic partner.

  • So how often I have conflict with my SO?

  • I think a lot more in the beginning of the relationship

  • because that's kind of the time where you're getting to know each other and you're starting to learn about where there is conflict in the relationship.

  • And I think it's a little hard maybe in the beginning to bring it out,

  • but once you start to realize it's okay and it's good for the relationship,
