This is the Moth Radio Hour.
I'm Jennifer Hickson.
In this episode, stories about questions, the ones we ask,
the ones we don't, and what happens either way.
There's a Chinese proverb that says, he who asks the question is a fool momentarily,
but he who does not ask remains a fool forever.
Storytellers in this hour may or may not agree.
Our first storyteller is quite young when he first steps up to question authority.
This is Shahab Asta or Habi as his mom calls him.
At a moth showcase in Chicago where we partner with public radio station WBEZ.
Here's Shahab.
When I was a kid, I used to get in trouble from time to time.
I'm sorry.
Can we start that over?
Because when I was a kid, I used to get in trouble all the time.
It's not that I was a bad kid, but I was a kid.
I liked to talk and play and I wanted to make people laugh.
That was what was important to me.
And in the first grade, I had Ms. Worth.
Anybody out here have Ms. Worth?
