My guest today is the founder and owner of Zurich investment firm, Nascence Capital.
Previously, he worked as an auditor and senior manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers,
as a director at NN Rothschild & Sons, and as a managing director at Templeton Investment.
Besides his work within investment, he's also the author of Swiss Made,
the untold story behind Switzerland's success.
Too small to fail, why some small nations outperform larger ones,
and how they're reshaping the world.
And inspired by Too Small to Fail,
he founded the non-profit organisation S8 Nations in 2020 with headquarters in Zurich.
His work is regularly published in The Economist, The Financial Times,
Foreign Affairs, The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times, amongst others.
He has had a fellowship at Harvard and his latest work is what Goliath can learn from David.
Big lessons from small nations.
It explores how smaller countries can offer effective solutions to global challenges that large countries like the US for instance often struggle with.
Well, his name is Art James Bryding.
Welcome to Meet the Writers.
Lovely to be here, Georgina.
What does art stand for?
Russell.
