Hello, in the previous episode of Newscast,
Chris and I were talking about the historical significance of parliamentary procedure SO24,
which is how you trigger an emergency debate on a significant subject.
Well, that did actually happen in Parliament on Tuesday,
and the subject was the hiring and firing of Lord Mandelson as the UK ambassador in Washington DC.
So I'll catch up with Chris and Alex Versailles to find out how that debate actually played out.
