but this was a big news event in the United States this last week.

What is the event that happened last week?
We're talking about the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
And for those who are unfamiliar with Charlie Kirk, he was not a politician or anything.
He was more like a, I guess, a little bit of a political figure.
He was like a political podcaster, really, in the far right.
