human rights violations, even genocide.
That was during the COVID pandemic time when China was effectively closed.
But now, with Xinjiang freely accessible and the world able to see the true picture for themselves,
the stories seem to have suddenly disappeared.
Another reason why few dare to continue spreading disinformation about Xinjiang is,
I believe, thanks to the rigorous work of academics like Jack James.
Drawing on her background in law,
she has completely debunked some of the most atrocious claims and narratives against China and Xinjiang.
