Chinese President Xi Jinping has made a three-point proposal for BRICS countries to uphold multilateralism,
opening up in solidarity.
Addressing a virtual summit with other BRICS leaders,
President Xi Jinping called on member states to promote the voice of the global cells and oppose all forms of protectionism.
He said the group should advocate inclusive economic globalization and make greater BRICS cooperation more solid,
dynamic and more influential.
The Chinese leader also said that the group will weather the tests of the volatile international landscape as long as members act with responsibility and mutual support.
