  • If you give someone heads up, you tell them something in advance.

  • It could be some helpful information or a warning.

  • You'll receive a very important email later.

  • I'm just giving you a heads up.

  • If your head overheels in love, you are completely in love.

  • We often use this to describe the beginning of a relationship.

  • Oh, look at them.

  • Their head overheels in love.

  • If you lose your head, you are overcome with emotion.

  • Your presentation is really good.

  • Don't lose your head.

  • Stay calm.

  • And if you say something off the top of your head, you say it without thinking much before speaking.

  • This is usually because you don't have enough time.

  • How many people are coming?

  • I'd say 200 off the top of my head.
