Welcome to the World in 10.
In an increasingly uncertain world, this is The Times' daily podcast dedicated to global security.
Today with me, Alex Dibble and Toby Gillis.
And Alex, under normal circumstances,
I'd be explaining in this position what story we're going to cover and who our guest would be,
but this is going to be a different episode.
That's right.
We wanted to let you know that this is going to be the final World in 10 episode.
So instead of doing an interview with a guest, as we normally do,
We're going to be reflecting on the last year and a half.
And at the end, I'll explain what you can expect from this podcast in the future.
But just to go back to where we were when we began really the world in 10 as it is now,
it was in May 2024 for people who were with us then that we narrowed our focus to do only global security
because we felt.
that six months into the Israel-Hamas war and potentially around six months from another Trump presidency,
that that was such an important topic in the world.
And so that's why we did that.
And then we got the second Trump presidency, Toby.
Yeah, and it's been central, hasn't it?
It's been the theme over the course of the last... what are we on, 14, 16 months?
