Hello and welcome to Business Matters.
I'm Roger Hearing.
On the programme today,
a last-minute lifeline for small businesses affected by the end of a long-standing tariff exemption on small items coming into the US.
But it may not be quite what it seems.
Also, the Fed governor Donald Trump wants to fire fights back with a legal challenge.
Raids across Brazil as the authorities try to close down a $10 billion money laundering operation.
Also, we speak to the man at the centre of a multi-billion dollar investment in US shipbuilding.
And how old is too old for a pilot?
It is no reason to have an arbitrary age.
Some pilots are unfit at 55 and others are still fit at 75.
But the airlines want to raise the retirement age from 65 to 67.
And I'll be joined throughout the programme by two guests on opposite sides of the world.
Sinead Mangan, who presents the ABC radio programme Australia-wide.
She joins us live from Perth.
Sinead, a very good day, I suppose.
Good morning still to you.
Nice good morning.
Good morning from me, Roger.
Good.
