President Trump says he started planning for a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to end Russia's war in Ukraine.
Trump says he also wants to plan another meeting that would include those two men and himself.
This comes after yesterday's big gathering at the White House,
where Zelensky and several European leaders met with Trump.
Afterwards, Zelensky said no date has been set for the three-way meeting.
President Trump says the U.S. will help with security guarantees for Ukraine,
but Trump did not explain what the U.S. role might look like.
He did say the Europeans would be a first line of defense for Ukraine.
The House Oversight Committee says the Justice Department has agreed to provide the panel with records related to late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
NPR's Ryan Lucas reports the committee subpoenaed the Epstein materials earlier this month.
The Republican chairman of the House Oversight Committee, Kentucky's James Comer,
says the Justice Department will begin turning over Epstein-related records this Friday.
He says it will take some time for all the materials to be provided to the committee.
