  • I'm Georgina Godwin.

  • My guest today, who's from Georgia in the US,

  • is one of the world's most popular and acclaimed crime writers.

  • She's the author of more than 20 New York Times bestselling novels, published in over 120 countries.

  • Her first novel, Blindsighted,

  • was published in 27 languages and made the Crime Writers Association Daggers Award shortlist for Best Thriller Debut.

  • That was back in 2001.

  • Her work's been adapted for the screening, including Pieces of Her,
