  • BBC Sounds. Music, radio, podcasts.

  • Hello.

  • The big meeting in Alaska between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin is at 8pm UK time.

  • because of the time difference and because Alaska is so far west,

  • where it will then be 11 o'clock local time in the morning.

  • They're going to have a one-to-one meeting joined by interpreters,

  • and then they've both brought quite big delegations with them,

  • because it sounds like they're going to discuss so much more than just what's happening in Ukraine.

  • Anyway, that's their timetable.

  • This is our timetable.

  • On Saturday morning, bright and early,

  • me and Victoria Derbyshire from UkraineCast will be joined by Vitaly from UkraineCast and Sarah Smith from AmeriCast,

  • both of whom are in Anchorage in Alaska where the summit is happening.

  • And we will bring you right up to date with what we know then.

  • But what we're going to do now is give you all you need to know to understand what is going to happen in the next few hours.

  • So that's what you will get on this episode of Newscast.

  • Newscast.

  • Newscast from the BBC.

  • He has just compared me to the Fat Controller.

  • Did I say that?
