NVIDIA is a company that makes AI chips.
Because of that, NVIDIA is now the richest company on Earth as of June of this year.
And thanks to a new deal with the Trump administration,
NVIDIA, alongside fellow AI chip maker Advanced Micro Devices,
or AMD,
will be sending the United States government 15% of its profits from selling AI chips to China.
Basically,
the United States government is now a partner in two private companies that are selling AI technology to the country that's supposed to be our biggest competitor.
